Project: Prototype breathing actions in VR using breath/wind detector

Breathing actions can be divided into two general areas: Natural and Supernatural


Natural breathing activities:

-Blowing out candles

-Blowing up balloons

-Playing music/making sounds (harmonica, whistle, etc.)

-Moving objects (feathers, sand, flower petals, pollen, etc.)


Supernatural breathing activities:

-Breathing fire/smoke/ice/water

-Spray paint

-Moving objects (cars, buildings, elephant, etc.)


Possible research (time permitting):

-Introduce conflicting behavior (delays, augmentation, reduction, cut-offs, etc.)

-Survey user feelings of presence, agency and embodiment for various prototypes

-Synchronous/asynchronous breathing using avatar
