We are a group of five engineering graduate students at the University of Southern California exploring the integration of breath actions in VR applications. Breath detection is a relatively new and novel haptic interface for VR applications and our group is studying how using one's breath to interact with a VR application effects their sense of presence, embodiment, immersion and agency.
